Position Summary: As a Consultant/Project Manager, you will lead building envelope consulting projects for new and existing structures. Providing design assistance, inspections, and forensic analysis. This role involves managing projects, interacting with clients, and preparing technical reports.

Location: South Florida

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide building envelope consulting advice and recommendations for new construction clients and architects including peer review of drawings.
• Perform building envelope inspections and field testing for new construction.
• Conduct building envelope condition assessments and forensic evaluations of existing buildings.
• Manage projects and serve as the primary point of contact with clients for coordination and scheduling of all contracted services.
• Manage project work plans, team members, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and technicians.
• Prepare detailed technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Motivated – self-starter and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Experience with building code requirements and reading construction plans.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Bluebeam or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineering License in Florida or ability to obtain one within two years is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
